A ZipFresh bag is composed of 3 unique layers.  The innermost layer is a patented film that slows the process of ripening by adsorping the harmful rotten gas and control humidity.  The second layer is LDPE to improve elastic strength.  The third layer is Nylon to handle extreme temperatures and provide complete oxygen shutoff.

Yes! A ZipFresh bag is BPA Free, Endocrine Free, and Chemical Free. The ZipFresh bag has no phthalates, dioxin, PBDE, or PCB (major environmental pollutant). ZipFresh bag complies with FDA food grade requirement and passes European Union's LFGB, REACH specifications and EU Food Container quality test.

ZipFresh bag is made with its body and base as one integrated piece to be sturdy and durable.  With the proper use and care, a ZipFresh bag can be reused for at least 10 times.

The result may vary depending on the environment temperature, moisture level, the original produce condition and the type of produce. Based on our studies, typically a ZipFresh bag can keep produce fresh three times longer than an ordinary plastic bag.
